Hi,
I sometimes thrift used shoes on ebay and find myself struggling with how to properly clean them, eliminating all the stains and odours while at the same time not damaging the leather inside and outside.

How do you recommend cleaning thrifted shoes?

In the past I have been thoroughly cleaning both the inside and outside with a leather shampoo/water mixture and afterwards rinsing the shoes with water. In the end I used Saphir Renovateur and shoe cream to breathe life back into the shoes.
