How to clean Taupe Suede women shoes ?

Hi guys

I accidentally dropped a fork with 2 drops of gravy on my missus's shoes. Yeah im an idiot

was wondering how can she restore/clean it ?

She tried dish washing soap and now part of the suede is like scrapped off. I assume the dish washing liquid was too concentrated

Similar to shoe and colour below. Will try take a photo of the actual shoe

whatever you do, don't use the same method you would for men's shoes

yeah initially:

1) used water, hand soap and tissues to try clean
2) water stains and light gravy stains were still on there, then went home and used dish washing liquid. I should've known better

Is this completely ruined or salvagable ?
