How to care for Aniline Chromexcel shoes?

I've looked all over for info on this particular leather. Can't seem to find much consistent info. It seems that Horween is the most well known maker of this stuff, but they don't give info on how to care for it. I've read a few things about neatsfoot oil, but it's conflicting.

Anyone know about this?

I've got some Ann D aniline boots and have no idea how to care for them so I'm interested as well.
