I bought my first commando sweater from TW Kempton. Supposedly this a MOD spec British Made version. The fit is quite flattering but it is itchy as hell.

I've never had such an itchy sweater and I am wondering if anyone has tips or tricks to make it wearable?

I had one a long time ago from the Royal navy (so in Navy color !) i kept 20+ years at last.
Apart wearing a long sleeve tshirt or long sleeve cotton roll-neck under it, i don't think there is something you can do to avoid the 'itchy' problem...

How do you like it other than that? What's the fit like? Slimmish, regular or full?

A long sleeve t-shirt seems to work well enough.
The fit is pretty slim. I read that some people recommend a size up. When you see the sweater on its own it looks really skinny but it is ribbed a stretches quite a lot.
