Hi everyone from Finland!
I like and wear button-suspenders always on my work.
How tight should suspenders be, is there any kind of recommended tightness or does it really matters?
Also, what kind of trousers do you wear with suspenders?
I like very high rise (they are so comfortable) pants, but could maybe try also something else. (photo)
I must have trousers taylored, here in Finland I cant find trousers without belt loops from shop.
Sincerely, Jukka

I don't know if there is a guide to how tight suspender should be, though ideally you do want high rise with suspender (but I personally wear them with medium rise just because that's what most RTW sell).

you can still convert belt loops to side tab or the sliding mechanism (assume enough material left in inseam), though I would think very hard to find what you have shown on picture as RTW

Jukka,
Greetings! I've been thinking about going to a higher rise trouser with suspenders as well but haven't done anything yet. Are yours made on site or do you have them made online? I have a shop here in town that can make 'custom'. That seems to be the term here in the USA. It's not bespoke because you dont get to interact with the maker but it's not MTM because they do measure you to make the garment. Is the high rise with suspenders your 'go to'? Any info you can give me is appreciated.

It’s fine to have belt loops and suspender buttons—in fact it’s desirable should you ever wear the pants with a pullover type top that doesn’t get tucked in. In that case you obviously can’t wear suspenders, so you need belt loops.
