how the hell do you break in and stretch denim?

I got a screaming deal on a nice new pair, I am much more versed in the wearing of suits and what not. I sized down 2 sizes (34 normally, to a 32), I think they have one wash in them. The waist and ass is a little snug, I have worn them for about 12 hours total. I want them a little looser ********** and waist, the rest is perfect. Any tricks?

wear them. everyday. do everything in them. make them your second skin.

should I avoid getting wet? Like around the ankles?
How long do you think it will take to be at peak stretch? I plan on wearing these for 6 months with out washing. Perhaps I will never wash these, I never really have my suits cleaned unless I need to.

What jeans did you buy? If they are one wash, you probably don't need to be so stringent on washes. They will likely stretch out as much as they're going to within 1-2 weeks of daily wear. If you sized down two sizes and are able to wear it with only slight discomfort after 12 hours, you should be good to go in a few days. I would say that since these aren't dry, you can wash them more often than every six months without issues, but that's personal preference.

Some G-stars for 4 dollars. They didnt have tags, but judging from the hairy nature of the denim I would say the got a wash. very dark and obviously had not been worn ever. Its my intro into denim, I think I will be a fanatic soon and I will step up to some big boy denim soon.

Well, if you're going to wear them every day, definitely air them out at night (by hanging them up, not by laying them down) I think within 1-2 weeks you should be pretty comfy in them as they will conform to your body.
