I have research and many say 37 - 40 pieces is Ideal for a Capsule Wardrobe. Can you guy suggest me?

So where should I start with?
So how many Jacket/suit should I have ? and what colours/fabric shouldis a Must have ? (I'm in a very hot all-year weather)

Hi,

This thread might become very interesting since a lot of guys these days try to buy less but better clothing (without speaking about minimalism or “capsule wardrobes”, tho). Looking forward to some replies/insights from “real” guys about this and not only from sponsored/ugly looking/trendy youtubers/instagrammers.

To get back to your question: I think that to try to answer we need to know more about how you live (environment - business? casual? very formal?) and what you wear (at work, in your Freetown, etc). Because for some people, 10 t-shirts, 2 pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers would be enough, but this surely isn’t the case for everyone.

For very hot weather, I'd try to avoid a jacket and wear a shirt that is considered formal in various cultures: barong, guayabera, aloha, batik...

My favorite dress pants for such weather are polyester wool blends. They breathe well, are wrinkle-resistant, and machine-washable. I'd get four colors, off-white, tan, light gray, and dark gray. You can find them RTW or by Luxire.

Capsule really just means that most of your pieces work with each other/are complementary and it will depend a lot on what your needs are from my understanding.

I buy a lot of blue/brown shades as they all go together nicely.
