How much of SF groupthink do you actually follow?

After seeing some meetup pics, I suspect more people actually say they agree with advice doled out on various topics than actually follow it. Sometimes I think the noobs are the only people who are completely honest with their opinions.

I find myself favoring mostly what the forum favors, how much of that is groupthink I will never know.

There are a lot of good ideas, pics, and opinions posted. I follow some of it for sure, but overall not that much.

I adopted 2-inch cuffs because of SF, and now have some white denim. Stuff like my dislike of black suits and fondness for knit ties predates the forum. And I still wear more trou with plain bottoms than with cuffs.

An example of SF logic I don't get:
Ralph's pony is almost universally decried, but Barker Black's skull logos are generally accepted as cool.

I like pocket squares, hmm that's about it. Not sure it's due to forum groupthink and I only wear the white silk ones.
