1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

How much of SF groupthink do you actually follow?

After seeing some meetup pics, I suspect more people actually say they agree with advice doled out on various topics than actually follow it. Sometimes I think the noobs are the only people who are completely honest with their opinions.

Post pics as examples and please incorporate red circles and/or arrows to further demonstrate your point.

I find myself favoring mostly what the forum favors, how much of that is groupthink I will never know.

There are a lot of good ideas, pics, and opinions posted. I follow some of it for sure, but overall not that much.

I adopted 2-inch cuffs because of SF, and now have some white denim. Stuff like my dislike of black suits and fondness for knit ties predates the forum. And I still wear more trou with plain bottoms than with cuffs.

An example of SF logic I don't get:
Ralph's pony is almost universally decried, but Barker Black's skull logos are generally accepted as cool.

I like pocket squares, hmm that's about it. Not sure it's due to forum groupthink and I only wear the white silk ones.
