Thanks Jet. My student ID was printed on light blue laminate because they were out of the white laminate because I had it made kind of late. Will thi sstill be valid at a mall J.Crew? Aslo do they have an expiration date or summer amnesty on this? I'll probably just start a new thread to ask.

Whatever you do don't ask in the jcrew thread by all means create a new thread for this or your questions will go unanswered. I believe any expired id will work as long as it's not older than 9 years and you can repair the laminate with red chambray which will entitle you to free alterations to make it fit like boo.

i think we're long overdue for a baller zipper thread -- and then a sub-thread for the servants that ballers pay to zip them.

I probably should be offended because I live in the J. Crew thread but damn that was funny. Well played. [IMG]

Almost all zippers in this kind of product and in this price range are made from an alloy of copper, zinc, and nickel. The ususal proportions are 5:2:2. I don't think there's a detectable variance from these proportions in either the j. crew or levis zippers.

    Hope that helps! [IMG]

i like the riri zip on my grey apc jeans and the RY zippers on my brato jacket are really sexy looking/feeling though i don't know if they have as cool of hype as riri/lampo but they're nice. sure there are all sorts of different models for each brand
