Drinks and dining probably top out at around 2K.

On the flipside, I don't own a car.

Try to limit myself to about $750/month for restaurants/bars/clubs etc. I'm within my first year out of college and have yet to reach baller status.

Too much but working to spend less. Signing up for mint.com has helped tracked how wasteful I am a good amount.

i used to spend about 30-40% of my monthly income on booze, clothes, coke, and whatever else. Cut back when i grew up a bit, and even more when i experimented with sobriety hehe. Now I spend a LOT less.

Same here. It's a great feeling to be in control of your life and money.
