Not a whole lot. I spent a lot more in the past. Now I try and keep the amount of clothing I own pretty lean.

In the last 10 months or so I bought:

July 06: Corpus 'Fine' one-wash, pretty much new, from a SF member - $50
November 06: H&M Sliq in raw black, in-store purchase - $40
January 07: Rag & Bone RB6, NWT, Ebay - $80

Really, it's all I need. I have the broken-in Corpus for casual wear, the evenly dark RB6 if I need a dressier jean, and the Sliq for a more fashion-forward trendy jean.

Yeah... i don't understand people with 30 pairs... it's ridiculous. Way oo risky considering the fluctuations of weight.

I guess? I am still the same waist size as I was in high school 12 years later <shrug>

Argh! How do you edit polls?

If there isn't a way to do that, then I propose incorporating the word "stilling" into the English vocabulary..

let's see, jean damage for 2006:

2 pairs of APCs: $180 (Denimbar)
2 pairs of 5EPs: $180 (leomiami.com and SF Buying and Selling)
RRLs: $40 (eBay)
Nudies: $108 (Yoox)
Earnest Sewn: $80 (STP)

so $588. probably a lot compared to the population in general but low-to- average compared to the SF Streetwear population i would imagine.

I'll list it without prices :p

1 x Kicking Mule Workshop 1980
1 x Pure Blue Japan AI-001
1 x 45rpm sorahiko suminando.

estimate would be close to $1k

1 pair for 2007, that's my goal.

i spend like $30 a year on denim. i go to ross (i know) and get hooked up when employees get 40% off. i found a pair of levis 527 low rise boot cut, in the exact color i wanted (black). sure i had to search for it, but for $7.00, i was thrilled.

My resolution this year is to stop buying cheapie $40-60 experimental stuff (BDG, Monaco, etc.) to save for more decent pairs. I'd probably be rocking AW's by now if I'd thought about it before.

On the other hand, it does leave me with a 5 raw-jean rotation.
