How much can I shorten my suit jacket while still keeping it looking proportional? Is it best not to shorten the length? The shoulders and sleeves fit fine.

It depends on the pockets but an inch seems to be the max.Originally Posted by dragon8
Also depends on the button stance. I would imagine you could also get a tiny bit more off of a suit w/o pocket flaps, but I could be wrong. best to post pics.
