What is the retail? Is 1200$ retail realistic or is that an ebay fantasy?

****, with $1200 check the B&S forum. You will get more for your money with a little patience.

There were zip neck pull overs at Saks and Neiman's for $850 $875 a few weeks ago. A zip front hoodie was around $1,200.

The euro just dropped to $1.25 today, down from about $1.60 when most of these where shipped to the stores. I look forward to lower prices on Cucinelli for spring, but that may just be my wishful thinking.

I keep seeing 500$ sweaters on ebay... I'm wondering how much worst it would be to shop at retail...

So a light-ish v-neck would sell for around 800-900 then? And I guess they can be picked up on sales at around 50% off..?

EBay for items like Cucinelli is really turning into retail less a sale price. The high buy it now prices mean there really is no more auction.

I bought my CB jacket at Neiman Marcus, on sale, cheaper than I could get it on EBay.

I saw some recently at Saks Off 5th for under $400 that were marked $995.00 retail.

I really think a lot of sellers are trying to factor in the livedotcom discount and take advantage by listing higher.

At the risk of sounding uneducated... What is the "livedotcom" phenomenon?

Just to say- there is/was a very nice brown cashmere
Michael Bastian/Brunenello Cucinelli crewneck sweater in B&S
for a couple of hundred dollars. I didn't quite pull the trigger,
but it was very, very nice.
