I just purchased 2 BB non-iron shirts from Mr. Porter. I got them for $80 total. When was your sale that you got the 2 for 109? I went with a french cuff and the traditional non-iron. What do you think of the French Cuff so far? I am guessing I will need to get both tailored since they are not slim fit.

Just one with barrel cuffs and another one with French cuffs, both with a medium spread collar. I don't wear white very often.

When in doubt, a white dress shirt always works, and looks great against most ties. Have to love that :slayer:

*Sigh* This is clearly my thread. I have an armoire full of them.

My winter uniform is generally crisp white button-up or OCBD, v neck sweater, SC and flannels/jeans. Because of this I can think of 10 white or ecru shirts I own off the top of my head.

1 BB OCBD and 1 Burberry Treyforth. I recently updated my wardrobe so my old white shirts are like Zeppelins.

Same here. I have at least 2 dozen of them. I only wear white and blue dress shirts, but mostly white.

Three. One with a full fit (Cardin), one with a slim fit (Nodus), and one with French cuffs (Brioni).

However, I much prefer colored and patterned shirts. White often looks too "dressed up" or "pretentious" on me. Regarding versatility, light blue shirts rule!

Jesus - what in the world do you people do with all those white shirts? I have one from Geneva, and I wear it perhaps once every 8-10 weeks.

That being said, I have 8 plain light-blue shirts in various collar and cuff configs.

4 (1 cutaway collar/french cuff poplin, 2 medium spread poplin and pinpoint, 1 heavier oxford) with a 5th on its way (cutaway poplin)

Edit: Make that 5 owned now, I also have a tuxedo shirt that allows for studs.

2 LE OCBD pinpoint and bb spread collar. Complexion and gray hair make me wash out in white shirts..

Just three I think (this is from memory, so I could be forgetting): two with regular spread collars & french cuffs, one OCBD. The OCBD is never worn with a tie however, so I don't know if it counts for purposes of this thread. Oh, and I just remembered that I have a marcella-fronted one for black tie, but I doubt that really counts for this thread either.

I have a couple of solid cream/ecru shirts (one button cuffed, one french cuffed) too, which are more or less interchangeable with the white shirts in many (not all, of course) outfits.
