Link? Sounds like an interesting thread, I may learn something.. [IMG]

Don't think it's that interesting - I seem to be the only one who cares - and justifiably so [IMG]

About 30 and about half of those are casual (usually patterned), the other half are business or formal shirts (plains, stripes).

There will be more on the way shortly but I'd like to keep at about 30 or so and donate a few I don't really wear anymore as I get new shirts in ("last bought, first on" as they say). The wardrobe remains manageable this way!

PS madaboutshirt - Eton are a Swedish brand.

I own about 60 long sleeves shirts and 45 polos. 20 of those long sleeves are for everyday use and 25 are for my suits.

^^^Five pairs of identical longwings? [IMG]

Would it make a difference if all the polos are exactly the same?

Uhm, probably like 20-30 dress shirts. Half of them are Jantzen. The other half are split between Coles, BB MTM, Robert Talbott Estate MTO, MyTailor, and some other more casual "dress" shirts from G-Star and some other miscellaneous ones I've collected throughout the years.

I'm actually going through a major re-evaluation of my closet (I posted a thread about the methodology and interim results, it's a long process). One objective is to cut down to and limit the dress shirts to 50 + another 10-15 for casual/streetwear
I went through a major editing today and took about 20 shirts out of the closet - I now have about 55 dress shirts (+5 in the hamper) and 10-15 casual shirts. I think I can cut another 5-10 dress shirts and a handful of casual ones.

    It feels good

Quality over quantity is fine but you do need to rotate....
