More than I need, I guess... I can think about several right now:

    Sugar Cane Okinawa
    74AM Standard all black
Paper Denim & Cloth Co Japanese
Couple of wearable Diesels + one totally ripped from exclusive wear for several years
Levi's 501 (the cheap regular one)
    probably forgetting something

I have had several periods when I was exclusively wearing only 1 pair of jeans until I destroy them totally

seconded ^^ many more than i'll need, not like edmond though.

the only jeans in regular rotation are IH 634s, some old Nudie straight svens, imperial kings, FH 380's, and new addition of sammurai 526XXII just got from 2nd

How many pairs of jeans do you own? How many jeans that you own actually get worn on a regular or semi-regular basis?

I own 12 pairs of jeans, but only about 5 of them get regular or even semi-regular wear.

I own anywhere from 12-15 pairs. I used to keep about three in rotation. I've only been wearing one pair as of late, however.

...this is as much for me as for the rest of you.

    My rotation:

32 - Nudie Slim Jim Dry Japan
32 - Nudie Slim Jim White
32 - Nudie Straight Sven Dry Black Selvedge
    30 - APC New Standard
    29 - APC Rescue
    32 - 5EPxSF
32 - Naked & Famous Weird Guy Dry Vintage Blue
    32 - KMW 1980 Black by Context
32 - SFAM Grey (Slimmed Significantly)

The APC NS is still the "go to" pair.

Nudie Average Joe Dry Grey Coated
    ES Fulton
    Rag & Bone RB11 lightweight non-selvege
    Acne Mic
    5EPxSF

Currently mostly wearing the RB11s (a great summer jean) and the Rescues. Looking forward to getting back to my 5EPs once Fall hits.

I think I have one more pair in my future - probably some Iron Heart 634 or Flathead F310

In the rotation: Ande Whall Grifter x 2 - my favorite jean ever sfx5ep - best denim and details ever, but cut is just a hair off. A shame. Missed it that much. sda 105 (tailored to a straight leg) pbj xx-005 black helmut lang low rise classic fit lt. grey skull 5010xx white not worn so much or retired: ndg classic fit indigo - good jean, just lost in the shuffle samurai 505xx - I should sell these esef sky - love these, but too thick for summer naked and famous vintage blue - I should sell these too apc rescue - i've grown to hate this cut lvc 47 denime slim tapered fit (no model name or number on the tags) from 10 years ago. bought them 2 sizes too big due to bad advice from the sales guy at fred segal, or else these would be awesome. great denim color and texture and cool silhouette.

I count 18. In no order:

    Nudie Regular Ralf Dry Selvage
    Nudie Baggy Bjorn Dry Selvage
Edun cotton/spandex with slash trouser pockets
Helmut Lang 1998 Classic Denim Boot Cut
    KMW 1950
    Earnest Sewn Fulton.50
Helmut Lang 1998 Vintage Classic Denim Low Waist Contour Fit
Helmut Lang 1999 Classic Raw Denim Classic Boot Cut
    Paper Denim Cloth bootcut
    Diesel ??? (double-button top button)
    Rogan Original, Ethanol Wash
    Nudie Bootcut Ola Dirty Dark
    Diesel with squared off pockets
AG for Gap 1969 with selvage inside coin pocket
Helmut Lang 1999 Treated Raw Denim Boot Cut
Helmut Lang 1999 Classic Raw Denim Classic Cut
    RRL Slim Fit
    Loro Piana linen/cotton red jeans

    All are button fly.

I really liked Helmut Lang jeans when I was an undergrad, and I've had a big enough rotation that most of the ones I wore back in the day are still in good enough shape to wear. (And I am in good enough shape to still wear them. Or at least equally bad shape.) I wish his new stuff held a candle to his late 1990s stuff.

Three. Got into raw denim about three years ago and I don't see the need to have copious amounts of jeans when you need to put time into breaking each pair in. Here's what I'm wearing now:

Sling&Stones David (Dry - about a year of wear, dry cleaned, but don't want to lose any indigo on these)
Pure Blue Japan xx-005 (Dry - almost 8 months of wear, no washes)
Nudie Slim Jim (Black on Black)

Next up: RRL Slim Fit in Dry. When I get these I'll give my PBJs their first wash.

Same.. I have a bunch of express, 7fam, and RR jeans eating up my closet spaces. However I'm slowly selling them all.

    Only two.

I'm looking for a pair of black jeans and a pair of streaky denim. Any recommendations? Looking for things that fit similar to New Standards.

    RRL slim fit*
    RRL slim boot
PBJ xx-004 (hemmed to straight leg)*
    Kill City rocker fit
    Academi relaxed fit (grey)

*=Regular rotation, more emphasis on the PBJs and SSDS as project pairs.

Some time before the end of the year:
Crate Journals (aka the American APC NS killers)
    Crate Sally selvage MTO
    KMW/PRPS

I love the jeans I have but I certainly miss starting off with a single pair and using them as a life preserver for a year. I'm hoping the PBJs and selvage Crates will be my go-to for the next year.
