How Many Pairs of Chinos Do You Own?

How many pair do you own? How many are too many?!? I've been pretty slow to adopt chinos into my regular rotation. I guess I have an association between wearing jeans and being young and wearing chinos and being "mature."

Anyway, washed chinos are lovely. They're just as comfy as washed jeans, and I'm hoping they won't stretch out nearly as much and become unduly slouchy.

Next move up: pants made out of...wool!

Heck, I might even get another suit!

You do progress from jeans, to chinos, to wool pants to suits. Its true. I have more chinos than anthing that I wear to work, but ive slowly started phasing those out and introducing wool and corduroy, even a rare suit if needed.

I have about 7 pairs of chinos, 3 of which are in a "jean" cut that i really like. That is they are 5 pocket/front pocket cut. I never associated chinos with being mature but then again I went to a prep school and that was just about all I wore through out high school. I also recently cleaned out my closet and got rid of some pre-styleforum chinos i had. They were so boxy and baggy they might as well have been parachute pants.

Lol, I dont own any chinos anymore. I used to wear them when I was about 11 because my mum used to buy me them. Jeans are my preferred taste for bottoms.

Two. One in navy from H&M, one khaki from Marc Jacobs.

Six, although I've really gotten out of wearing them on a more frequent basis, oh well
