How many of you can wear denim to work?

Well, I can wear jeans on Fridays. Other than that, no.

I'm a software developer at a small-ish company, so you'd expect it to be casual, but no. We don't have clients on the office very often, either. Inexplicable.

Staff Accountant for a medium sized company, and we can only wear jeans on fridays, or whatever day ends a workweek (for instance jeans allowed on thursday's if friday is a holiday). Company goes uber casual, they also allow t-shirts (in good condition with no racy images or offensive language).

I completely agree.

I can wear pretty much anything to work as long as it's not offending anyone. I used to wear khakis everyday to stand out a little and dress "nice." Now I still stand out a little but by wearing raw denim. Most of the time you can tell the denim I'm wearing is of higher quality.

I work for a fortune 500, report to a global vp and yes I can where whatever I want. God I love my job.

The corporation I work at is so stuffy that their idea of casual Friday is letting guys wear a polo shirt, even for the IT department I work in. So yeah, not a chance in hell, but they pay me enough that I'm not about to complain.

I can wear jeans or pretty much anything i want to... i work for an architecture firm.. i do accounting though

It is suprising how many don't have jobs, but more suprising is how many people with jobs can wear whatever they want.

I worked as a paralegal, and my boss used to wear a fisherman's vest to work, so denim was totally reasonable. Now I'm back in school...
