Soccer game on Saturday was in the rain but the kids had fun! 7.3 miles in the afternoon when it cleared up. Gym and another 7.3 miles yesterday along with a 3mile walk with my son who was on his scooter.

My kids had a one mile fun run at school this morning. The start was done in waves by grade, so I watched both start and then ran the course. I caught up with my older son and ran with him to a bit past the half mile mark. Then I waited for the preschooler and did the rest with him. There were fun things to do along the second half of the course, so time didn’t matter. I did note that my older boy was running a low 8 pace midway through the run.

After that, I went back home and walked the dogs.

5 miles then the gym yesterday. Felt really good other than going straight from gym to car made me stiff. I guess I am getting old and need transition time.

Saturday was a lazy day then Sunday I got out at 7a for 8.2 miles. Yesterday was the gym and a run. Worst part of the day was moving a rock from a hole I was digging for a plant. Moved with it awkwardly now my back is feeling it.

A bit over 5 miles this morning with a mile warm up on the way to the track and then some intervals.

I generally roll out of bed and start running early in the morning with minimal time spent warming up so my first mile or so is usually very slow. This morning was no except but about two blocks into my run a very attractive woman woman from the neighborhood in the tightest running shorts possible runs past me making me feel slower than I was actually going. I was tempted to turn it back up to show her that, "Hey, I can be fast too!" but I failed at that... it was just too early in the morning to care about that. 😅

I did have a great workout at the track though and managed to work some push-ups and lunges into all the rest periods between my intervals.

8.6 miles nice and easy this morning. Was aiming or 10 but slept a little later than I had intended to.
