I'm kind of the same way. If I go to the gym before lunch, I normally suck at my lifts. My body just isn't firing yet. I can get much better workouts after 2pm.I did 6.3 miles yesterday at 7:14/mile pace. Temps were just about freezing, but it always amazes me how much better my pace is if I run after I've been up for a few hours rather than 10 minutes after rolling out of bed.
Feeling a little balloon-y with the advent of Thanksgiving and the holidays. What is the best running apparel company these days, especially if I want to lean toward breathable cold-weather gear? I'm a bit overwhelmed with the panoply of choices from Brooks and Adidas to Nike LuluLemon, etc. I feel as though I'm missing one that might stand above the others.
