About 1.5 blocks from my house felt like i was going to puke and called it a day.

What kind of a runner are you??? That's when you start doing your sprint program!!!

Only joking, good run - and knowing when to stop is a very important thing.

Yeah I have found around mile 7 is when I start getting spent neurologically but 8 miles is what gets me physically tired throughout the day.

That field is so you can name/describe your bike. That's all I felt was needed. ;)

4.6 miles this afternoon at 7:18/mile pace. I wasn’t planning on running that quick but I somehow ran into the routes of a couple big groups of girls high school cross country teams. I had to speed up to get around/through them so I wasn’t the creepy middle-aged guy running “with” them.

I have gone with more fanciful names for mine in Strava. My Felt, in honor of its color scheme, is Black, White, and Rode All Over

I see what you did there...

My friend lives down the street from Felt's offices in Irvine and knows those guys pretty well. When I used to ride a lot, they would get us our press passes to Interbike in the years before it was open to the public. Those days were amazing because everyone was just handing out samples and freebies left and right. I didnt buy a kit, gear or nutrition for years and always had to take an extra suitcase to bring home the swag.

I miss riding...

5k shakeout / wakeup this morning at 8:30 pace. slept horribly last night (that's what i get for watching the debate) so body feels sluggish and tight.

this is a bummer because i've been purposefully avoiding vices and trying to get a really good 8 hours or so the past few days leading up to my last race tomorrow. oh well, we'll see how it goes.

Hoping to get in that same loop both Saturday and Sunday which will give me my first 100+ week since I started riding again over Labour Day weekend.

So my new neighborhood is 1.35 miles for one lap. 5 laps put me at 6.8 miles and 1,045ft gain so a decent amount though repetitive. Next up is other neighborhood to see what they have to offer

I'd be thrilled to get 1,000+ feet of gain over less than 7 miles (or 200' on such a short lap out of my front door).

I got in 11.92 miles this morning (I'm kicking myself for not running around the loop of my driveway and my neighbor's driveway to get me 12 miles even) at an 8:28/mile pace. Nearly double the length of jbarwick's run, but I only got about 400' of elevation gain, and I was surprised that it was even that much!

Just installed a custom stem cap that summarizes how I feel when out on the bike.
