I am itching to run, but holding off until Sunday morning. I have a long run scheduled, but I'm just thinking of it as 'long run pace' because whether I can actually run the 21km scheduled is going to depend on whether my hamstring is recovered enough, and I'm not going to try to 'run through it.'

Couldn't even start my long run. I can feel my hamstring isn't right yet. Another couple of days, maybe a week...

4.5 with the dogs. Temps rose from 30 to 37 while we were out. Good times, though I started off sluggishly.

6.5 miles last night followed by 100 burpees. I felt like I was moving quickly last night but my average pace was slower than usual.

I will be at the track tonight. It's supposed to be a 5k TT, but I will see how I feel after a few warm-up laps; I've not run for a week now because of the hamstring strain, but it feels better now. I've done quite a lot of stretching and strength exercises this week instead.

4.5 miles with the dogs at an 8:35/mile pace. I actually felt really good out there. Temps in the low 40s to upper 30s.
