I have a friend I used to run with pretty frequently and it didn’t matter if we were going out for 2 miles or 20. After about the first 10 minutes he’d be looking for somewhere to jump off to the side to drop one. I always used that S a chance to walk for a couple of minutes while he caught up with me.

6.3 miles in the sunshine today with temps in the low 50s. The weather was great but the roads and sidewalks were all flooded from all the melting snow and ice but my Nike Pegasus 35 Shields kept my feet totally dry again.

5 miles with the dogs. I’m sure I undid the benefit with the Super Bowl party immediately after, but whatever.

7 miles this morning in shorts. SHORTS! It was glorious.

Also, it's generally rare, but I have had long runs where I had to find a place to drop the kids off at the pool. I do most of my long runs on a crushed limestone trail - heading away from civilization, so no super embarrassing moments from that....

8.2 most of the way with a short (.15) kick to 8.5

was still feeling Saturday's long run . . . . but I feel inadequate calling 8 miles "long" after freehand posted his 19 lol

like being in a dick measuring contest with Ron Jeremy around here ;-)

7 miles with the dogs (5 on dirt). I slipped and fell on a patch of ice at about 1.9 miles. I wondered why folks were giving me so much room on the trails after that. Oh well... Temps were in the mid to low 40s.

3.1 shitty treadmill miles. For some reason my tibial tendon on my left shin only is whining something fierce during runs all of a sudden.

4 mi yesterday. Pushed hard for the last mile, an effort that yielded what used to be my warm-up pace. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It’s 15 degrees out with a blowing light snow and temps in the mid teens (windchill around 5). Why not go run 5.3 miles with the dogs?

BTW, all the tracks in the last pic belong to me and the dogs. There were only two other sets of tracks on the trails today, and none on the backside of the first set of ponds.
