Back on styleforum after some time away. I did 7 miles this morning in 14°F. There was essentially no wind, which helped a lot. 14 on Nov 14th does not bode well for me staying outside all winter........

Well it finally got out of the single digits here in the north. Put in 4 sleezy miles at high 7 pace.

    Skyline traverse rager on Friday.

Cold and rainy here and without a race on the calendar I stayed inside again.

5 miles with the dogs with temps in the upper 40s. It was nice to run in shorts and a T-shirt!

When I was younger, I thought it would be cool to start a tradition of running as many miles as years I was old on my birthday. As I aged, I thought maybe kilometers would be better. Now I'm (not really) old and just gave up on the idea.

I thought the same but with little kids training is tough.

I think 1/10th of your age isgood enough. I’ll be doing 4.3 on my next birthday.

    Happy birthday @jbarwick !

    Happy birthday, jbar!

Air quality yesterday was horrible, the worst in the world if various social media posts are to be believed. According to PurpleAir’s meters around town, we were up to 300 AQI. No outdoor activity for me...

[email protected]:08. Ran it at 8.2 and saw where I was and kicked it up to 8.8 to try and get under 22 min but started my kick too late

coulda done it if I had been paying more attention though so that felt good

8.5 miles yesterday after leaving work early. The upper 50*s felt great.
