Six somewhat hilly miles with the dogs. The temperature was nice, at 59. The forecast for tomorrow is a high of 26 with 2-6” of snow...

6 miles today, longest I've run since high school and since I picked up running again 6-12 months ago

splits 4/5/6 were 30:17/38:20/46:15 so the speed wasn't great . . . . I also cheated a bit because I had to step off the treadmill to take a quick **** at about mile 3 (meaning I probably only ran 5.5 at that pace but I'll take it)

Something about the treadmill does it to me, I swear I don't have to **** like this running outdoors

I have a friend whose friends have a pool going for all of his ultra races on what mile he’ll stop to poop. I **** you not.

3 miles last night in some mist. Was not sore or tight from my Ragnar runs but then again that was only ~17 miles over 36 hrs.

4.3 miles Sunday morning. Temps were about 36º. I was not expecting to be that cold yesterday morning!

I forgot to hit "Start" on Strava though so did the run even count?

Woke up Sunday to some snow flurries here in Minneapolis. Mid-October seems a little early for snow, but whatever, I dragged myself out to finish up my milage for the week. I should have listened to my body and taken more rest days weeks ago...but like a hardheaded dumbass I just kept hammering through the warning signs and associated pain.

I’ve been averaging 30-38MPW for the past 7 weeks straight, but this coming week I’m going to drop it down to 15-20 to give my ligaments a break. Looking forward to taking the next 3 days off.

Doesn't count. I feel like I've cheated when I manually enter runs due to technology issues or just not running with any tracking device.

It's been four months. Enough. Got in 3 this morning. Facebook is taunting me by showing runs from my two marathon training years. I was running 10-18 miles at a pace much faster than I could muster today. I guess I have no one to blame but myself.

I ran 5.5 miles in T-shirt and shorts with the dogs at M pace. Temps in 49-54 range. Perfect!

Four miles with the dogs. I ran at marathon/distance race pace (I actually use my current half marathon pace) except for the third mile, which was at tempo pace (8:06).

Earlier in the day, I bouldered outside up on Flagstaff Mountain, and sent my first new V5 in at least ten years. So today was a good day...
