7 miles. Steamier than yesterday.
I've done my 10.5k loop twice this week so far. Went for a swim in Lake Ontario after the second run, which is not normally something I'd do in the middle of October, but it has been so warm.
27.7km in 2:32:29 (5:30/km) on Tuesday. Primarily to take over two Strava uphill segments.
2 miles for me last night and am hoping to get another 6 or 8 miles this evening if it ever stops raining.
We have a house on the beach near the very southern end of Lake Huron (on the US side) and I went in the water last weekend. It's definitely been warmer lately (it finally got more fall-like over the past few days though), but there's just something about getting into the water this time of year... it always feels warmer for some reason. That said, I don't think I'd want to try it on Lake Superior though or up in the Georgian Bay area of Lake Huron.
8.6km in 43:49 (5:03/km). Fast, slow, fast back and forth.
8.2 miles last night at a pace about 1min/mi quicker than I am used to. Felt good.
Just finished a flat four miles.
In other news, I may be running the Banff Marathon in June. My brother-in-law signed up for it, so we may head up there at that time as well. Banff is one of my favorite places on earth.
Did three uphill sprints in one spot, then moved to another spot, did another uphill sprint there. Total of 188 m in preparation for this upcoming race: https://www.trailrunning-festival.at/de/trailrunning-salzburg-bewerbe/festungstrail.html 7.something km distance in total.
Some nice climbs in there!
I got in 7 miles today. The heat is back.
Did some more uphill sprints at the same spot and added a couple kms later.
8.3 miles today.
Just under 6 miles this morning. It was 75º yesterday morning when I went for a walk at 6:00 a.m. and today it was 46º degrees.
I didn't even know that this thread existed here. I feel kind of guilty taking a break from running the last few days, but my knees are a little happier. I have been doing a lot of walking, and I don't know how well my knees would like several miles of running followed by several hours of walking later in the day.
6 miles today, legs starting to feel fresh after my taper.
7 miles last night. Wanted to get out after the cold front came through. Taking tonight off though as I feel a little illness coming on from a weekend of my son coughing in my face.
