I've done my 10.5k loop twice this week so far. Went for a swim in Lake Ontario after the second run, which is not normally something I'd do in the middle of October, but it has been so warm.

2 miles for me last night and am hoping to get another 6 or 8 miles this evening if it ever stops raining.

We have a house on the beach near the very southern end of Lake Huron (on the US side) and I went in the water last weekend. It's definitely been warmer lately (it finally got more fall-like over the past few days though), but there's just something about getting into the water this time of year... it always feels warmer for some reason. That said, I don't think I'd want to try it on Lake Superior though or up in the Georgian Bay area of Lake Huron.

Just finished a flat four miles.

In other news, I may be running the Banff Marathon in June. My brother-in-law signed up for it, so we may head up there at that time as well. Banff is one of my favorite places on earth. :colgate:

Just under 6 miles this morning. It was 75º yesterday morning when I went for a walk at 6:00 a.m. and today it was 46º degrees.

I didn't even know that this thread existed here. I feel kind of guilty taking a break from running the last few days, but my knees are a little happier. I have been doing a lot of walking, and I don't know how well my knees would like several miles of running followed by several hours of walking later in the day.
