Ganghofertrail in Austria (beautiful place BTW, I was there on holidays in 2009), half marathon. New records: 5 K (21:52), 10 M, 15 K, 20 K (1:42:20) and half marathon (~1:47:36). https://www.strava.com/activities/1130302559
7 miles in Cambridge and Boston this morning, largely around the Charles. Felt ok, but wasn't nearly enough to make up for my epic beer consumption this week.
6 miles this morning. Back to the heat, hills, and near-altitude. At least there was no humidity.
7 miles tonight.
6.5 miles yesterday morning at a good pace.
Good job, everyone!
Went out in the late afternoon for a hot 10.5km today: easy-moderate-tempo-easy.
Followed by a cooling swim in the lake with my son.
First 5k tonight in who knows when. I've kept up a 10 minute a day or more running streak for the entire month so far. Bit of swimming / cycling and good bit of strength training too.
Tried to destroy a segment with ~250 m of ascent. I was faster than in my first attempt but still not fast enough to make it to #1 or #2 (stuck at #3 ATM). That segment is really brutal. Added ~14 km of mostly downhill but was totally spent at the end.
The standard 7 miler. Reverse of my normal direction.
7.5 miles early this morning. It's been a pretty good summer for running, weather wise this year in Metro Detroit.
Any runners in this thread in the DC or NOVA area? I have a registration for the Marine Corps Marathon on October 22nd but it looks like my work schedule will have me traveling a lot around that time so I am probably going to miss the marathon. If somebody else wants to run it, I'm looking to transfer it.
I ran my normal flat four miles yesterday afternoon before the thunderstorms rolled in. Felt pretty solid, and I'm definitely getting more fit.
