1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

5.25 miles tonight in the dark and the cold. Not @Fueco cold, mind you, but still 18*F with a 'feels like' of 12*F. Beardcicle central; every so often frozen bits from the moustache would melt off and fall into my mouth. I dont really want to consider their composition.

4 miles, 2.8 of which were on snow covered trails. The conditions were certainly slow, but I ran in short sleeve shirt and tights. Temperature was about 40.

3.5 miles tonight in the somewhat cold (a bit below freezing) and the dark. Felt really good, actually.

4.25 miles this morning with the little guy in the jogging stroller. Still below freezing, but not by much as the temperature is rising today in anticipation of a substantial storm coming in late tonight. Then it'll plummet again. But he's a trooper (albeit a bundled up one):

The legs felt really tired today, and I finally figured out why my average mile time for the month is over 30 seconds faster than it's ever been before -- this was only the second time I've jogged with him this month, largely due to the cold. This is from our halfway point on the uphill.

Quick 2.5km today before the sun set.

So far I've managed to run at least a little bit outside 14 of 23 days this December, which I'm pretty pleased with. I suspect January and February will see me go outdoors a bit less, but winter isn't killing my running momentum as much as I'd feared. Between that, a spinning bike, access to a stairwell I can climb up and down repeatedly, and body weight exercises, who needs a gym?

3.5 miles today. First flat run in months. The original plan was for a slow, recovery type run but the first mile felt good so I went with it. No stroller.

7.2 miles, half by myself and the second half with the one of our dogs who needs an obnoxious amount of exercise. This was my longest run since June. The weather was perfect: sunny with temps in the high 40s and a light breeze.
