1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

2.5k at a semi-relaxed pace. 33 degree weather with no wind is definitely tolerable, even if not optimal.

6 miles today. Back below freezing with snow on the ground. About 1000' of elevation gain that was pretty much all over the first three miles.

9.4 trail miles with 2,400' elevation gain. Was going for 13 miles but my wife is sick and I was slower than I thought so I did some hill repeats for gain and headed home.

Needed to get some motivation so signed up for two half marathons and one full for 2017 - first half is up in March.

I didn't do one in 2016 and my waistline is feeling the effects - if you don't see me in here over the next few weeks, feel free to send me a message telling me to get off my fat ass!

The in-laws are here which means I get to do something I haven't been able to do since the summer: run during the week. 3.2 miles tonight in the dark and the cold.

We will try to keep you accountable!

7 miles for me last night. Going to get a couple blasts of cold into the 20s and teens here in Nashville so you Michigan guys are probably in negative territory?

3.61km yesterday and 2.67km today. Looking forward to a few upcoming days in the 40s after a bit of a cold spell.

Today, I just set the treadmill at 10 min/mile and went with it. My breathing was a little chaotic at first, but then I realized it was mental and I was just like, panicking really. I told myself that I have been slowly building my body up for this for months, and that I was ready - and I did it.

Took my daughter to her karate class at the YMCA this evening and hit the treadmill

    4.78 miles in 42 minutes

Not a bad start back - my endurance is certainly lacking but I was happy to keep it under 9 minute mile pace at this point.

Not much time so 3 miles tonight. Bit of a warm front being pushed through before a cold snap so 50s and rainy. Ran in shorts for the first time in a while.

4.5 miles in 19*F weather that "felt like" (whatever that means) 3*F. Either way, the run felt pretty good. Beardcicles while whistling past the graveyard:
