1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

3.5 last night hashing with SFH3. The hares were so clever that the majority of us missed out on the remainder of the intended 6.5. But the weather was insane for the first week of November: 70 degrees after sunset!

4.25km today on a new loop I can turn into a 5k with a bit of adjustment and 1.61km yesterday (shaved a bit of time off the mile PR).

2.5 yesterday during my son's piano lesson. Would have been 3, but I stopped to help a woman find her polling place.

5 miles along Lake Michigan today. Felt great at first, hard at the end. Not sure if the change to lower elevation was helpful at all, but I did notice that heart rates that would normally difficult / tough to sustain for a long period (low to mid 170s) came pretty easily and didn't feel that hard. Also was pretty severely hung over.

Oh -- forgot to add that I thought I was closer to the lake than I was. Walked a mile to get there, and back at the end too. Good cool-down at least.

11.2 miles on the roads around the park today so I had 1,000' in gain. Surprisingly ran at a 8:12 pace because yesterday I donated blood so I thought I would be gassed.

Also a week or 2 ago, someone asked about GPS watches. I take my Garmin Fenix2 recommendation back. Mine kept going into an endless restart loop and after looking online others have this problem and have had it on multiple Fenix2's. I sent mine into Garmin and they are shipping a replacement but I am not happy with a watch less than 1 year old. Debated on having Amazon take it back then I could buy something else.

7 miles last night. With the collar weather I thought I would get this Strava segment I have been chasing but that was not the case. I pushed hard and was still 17 seconds behind my quickest time and 30 seconds behind the guy in first.

3k yesterday in 15:00. 5k today in 26:07. Both times crushed prior PRs by over a minute.

7 miles Wednesday and none yesterday. I either need to foam roll more or slow down. Leg cramps popping up throughout the day aren't fun.

4 miles this afternoon. It was absolutely perfect out there... 34 degrees and partly cloudy. We had a bit of snow yesterday, so think was the first snow run of the season...

Seriously though, I have to take it when I can... On Wednesday, it was 80+ degrees. Thursday, it was snowing and in the low 30s. Friday, with sunny weather, was my preferred weather over the past few days. I rode my bike on Wednesday, and was chomping at the bit to get out running once the snow stopped.
