I used to use an armband, but developed these stupid tan lines on my arm...I can deal with the phone in my pocket now, but it took a little to get used to.

Haha, here in Finland that's usually not a problem. Most of the time it's cold and gloomy (though right now the weather is pretty good). Personally I have never got around to get an armband though.

Only went for a short 2 mile run today. Need to step my game up.

400m repeats at the track today. 1:16, 1:14, 1:13, 1:12, 1:11... then took a longer rest between intervals because some guy asked me for directions, then 1:09, 1:09, 1:01. Then ran a couple 100m sprints and decided to run another faster 400 and ran 1:02.

    I ran there last month.

Re: listening to music during a run, that's why God created the Sansa Clip. Clip it to shorts' waistband and you're good to go. I'm no audiophile, but if reviews are any indication, sound quality is much better than iPhone/Pod/shuffle

6 or 7. I ran an hour fifteen outside, somewhere between a 10 and 12 minute pace. I need to figure out how to do this on days when I don't lift without fucking up my strength/size gains, but still burning some fat. Anybody?

Hey all. First time poster. Just wanted to say that I am 38 and I trail run 5 miles about 5 times a week. It usually takes me 1 hour 10 minutes to do so. I have no set time that I like to run but I usually like to do it early in the day during the summer before it gets too hot.

Welcome TB...mornings are tough for me...I usually run midday in the summer or late afternoon...sounds crazy, but the heat motivates me and makes me feel like I'm doing more.

5 and change: I got outside wearing a black shirt and decided to force myself to try a new route. Ran along a drainage ditch for a while, then along a road, then returned to the hood and did one more loop to wrap it up. Why I ran in a black shirt when the sun was already out and the temps were closing in on 90...is a mystery.

Does anyone here hit the gym after a run? Sorry if somebody posted something about this before. Just curious. When I was still playing basketball in the university and such i used to run few miles and then hit the gym afterwards. Still carried out this last year, but it's been a really long since I hit the gym last time, just running around, haha...
