Thanks for all the well wishes gentlemen! Mother and daughter (8 pounds, 3 oz) are doing great. I can't wait until Leah is old enough to go running with dad!

Jay,
do you prefer shorts with the liner (boxer brief or brief) ?
I have a few shorts with brief liners and I like them because they breath but I think the elastic on the brief has caused a few rashes.
Do you notice a significant difference with synthetic boxer briefs?
Yes, I run in shorts with liners, and I definitely prefer synthetic liners because they don't absorb and hold water as much as cotton.

6 today.
I am returning to the States on thursday, and will be back to training in beautiful, clean air.
Santiago air quality really sucks, and it is also winter here.

Track Wednesday (because SOMEONE forgot to set the alarm for Tuesday). 8 x 400 at about 1:31 pace.

10 km in 56 minutes. And since we're talking about where we run, this is my spot:

1000

Nice, Stazy.

4 this morning. Really good run for me:

8'56"
8'17"
8'21"
7'56"

(That last mile is only 6s off my personal best.)
