Not quite Hansens - its a much smaller group.
I will be doing a 5k/10k "season" starting in July, and then gear up for a spring marathon next year. The coach has had damn good results with some of my friends, so hopefully I will be able to channel some of that magic. I think mileage will still be in the low-mid 70s.
8 early yesterday, then 2 in the PM followed by strength (arms/back)
First run back from a wicked virus. Didn't each much of anything the past five days, felt incredibly weak. Incredible...feel like I worked for 5 months to build up strength, and lost it in 5 days...
Struggled through 4.75 today with 5 hill repeats towards the end. How long after stuff do you guys get your groove back?
4 miles. 2 min near sprint, 5 min jog. Broke in my new red Nike Free Run+ 3. Puppies are sweet.
2 - 3 weeks if its really nasty for me. On the plus side its a good opportunity for your legs to get over any niggles they might have though. You certainly won't be back to square one even if you feel like it now..
3 miles this morning.
NYR - bummer man. It'll come back quick though.
4.5 miles BLUE sky! 74 degrees! Heavenly!
3 miles @ 9m/m
Just starting to run to get in shape - I'm doing 3 miles a day about 5 days a week now. Feels good to be able to post in this thread.
Pushed myself today, gym in the AM and 7.5 this afternoon...the weather helped. Pace was slow, but my interval sprints were quick.
5 1/2 miles quite slowly in very strong wind
