10k this morning, 7s off my PR. I noticed that my recovery after hills was really good today. Felt like a breakthrough.

What do you record your race results in and what do you note about them?

Www.athlinks.com keeps a huge database of race results. I usually remember races well because they are ver painful

So I won a 150$ Nike Gift card today at a fundraiser event. Rather than flipping them online, I am thinking about upgrading my running gear wardrobe, which now consists of Target x Champion stuffs that cost me around 10$ a pair and free cotton t shirts. i know this sounds really dumb, but how should I allocate the money in buying running gears?

5 miles around noon today in small town USA, Decatur, Indiana. A good run on a gorgeous albeit somewhat chilly day.

I did SF in 2010 its a hilly run but a really great course and fun event. Just make sure you run the part of the course starting at the embarcadero and going up to Golden Gate Park a couple of times in training. ( miles 4 - 13) The more times you do that, the better off you will be. It was my slowest marathon (just over 4 hours) but probably one of the most fun runs of my life. The motorcycle club that does the course control in the 2nd half is really entertaining/competent.
    I ran 8.5 wednesday
    9 thurs w/ 4 or 5 at marathon pace
and 10 yesterday w/ 4 or 5 at marathon pace.

ceoceo - definitely stock up on running gear. It is great for everything and you will enjoy running more in a cool kit. Also Nike has its winter/spring stuff on sale so you can cop some good deals.
