4 miles this morning. Physically, I felt great; but mentally, I was too stressed about returning to work and all that I'd have to get done after being away on vacation.

8 miles in the new trails...they chewed me up and took what they wanted from me. My left ankle met several tree branches as did my left knee. There is something to be said about trail maintenance. In this case, there has been none for years. Oh well, I hope it makes me tougher.
It was fun and the smile may be frozen on my face for a day or two.

4 miles, this morning. 19 degrees. I had tears of ice. Thankfully, no wind.

Last night I felt as if my run yesterday may have beat me up a bit too much. However, today i feel great!
With that said, I have a meeting late morning and will shoot home and hit a 10 mile run to the lake. I havent run this route in almost a year.
I have to break in the new Kinvara 2's in bright red.
I may cave and go run the trails again..not sure if I should tempt fate.

I ran 3 miles this morning. I'll catch another 2-3 this evening prior to my workout.

Ten miles this morning and a strength workout at the Y.
Biking 16 miles this afternoon to make up for the 8 miles of running I missed yesterday courtesy of long work day.

4 today. My back seems no worse than it was before I ran, so maybe the running isn't the cause of the pain. This is a positive, I guess...

Retired my original Kinvara's on Sat. Today I began my new love affair with my new red Kinvara 2's. Ran in the easy trails, 12 miles, it was 37 degrees and windy. So beautiful. I averaged about a 7 MM the whole way. My fitness is finally coming in. At the half way point I stopped to admire a Russian Wolf Hound named Ellie, wow those a pretty dogs.
Also, totally in love with the new Salomon gear I'm running in. Particularly the shorts with the built in mesh boxers.

4 this morning. For the last couple of mornings I hadn't been mentally into the run, but this morning I was. Felt good all around.

Anyone here nab those hyped up Nike X Undercover Lunarspider LT+ collabs? Well, I did :embar:

Less than 100 miles so far, and I quite like them. However, the fabric layer (beneath the outer mesh) of the right shoe toe box has developed a hole and any minute I expect the mesh to be breached as well. Certainly did not expect that for $125, and have never experienced this with any other shoe before. I've written the vendor who is turn has contacted Nike.
