past 2 days have been dreadmill speed work outs. managed to push below a 7:30 pace for a few miles-again, fast for me. I also run at an incline of 4+. Its fun feeling the fitness come in and to see the changes in my body (also to be truly hungry for food is fun).

Just ran two miles today, approximately 7:30 min/mile pace.

I never run, being slim I have always avoided cardio, but lately I have been giving it a shot.

Added running into my bulking plan because it makes me ferociously hungry and it is impossible for me to gain weight.

6 miles very early this morning that went by quickly. I used the time to rehearse for a speech that I gave at 7:30 this morning - so I was focused on my remarks rather than running. A good run, and speech. :slayer:

14 miles today, in 1:52, very cold and clear. First run in tights. Ran with my 2012 training partner.
These dreadmill sprints are paying off. Felt very comfortable at that pace, could have pushed faster.

Five miles and a strength workout at the Y. This time of year I enjoy running for fun. Training starts in earnest in a few weeks.

I got up at 3 a.m. to run before catching a flight. I ran 5 miles, but it was at a slow pace.

    Love the dedication. Thats inspiring.
    5.5 MILES FOR ME.
first good run in over 3 weeks. I was shocked to feel winded at the pace i was running. Oh well. So happy to get a run in. Also did abs and 15 mins on the elliptical for good measure.

Ran the NYRR Pete McArdle 15k cross country race at Van Cortlandt Park yesterday - 1:04:58.

Also - big news - I'm in for the 2012 Western States 100. Scared out of my mind but in a good way. 194 days till the start.
