5 early this morning.
Struggled through 2.7 this morning.
yesterday, 20, strong throughout, negative splits.
tomorrow is a long speedwork session.
Nice work Thomas
3.5 on dreadmill today....uggghh
just about 3.... finally started working on the turkey belt!
5.5 tonight. running the same, forgetting to post more. racing in CP this weekend, last of 2011.
5 for me
Today - 5 x 2km threshold runs, 200m recovery. Spun through them at 1:50/400m pace, felt pretty solid, worked on my knee drive. Add the run to and from the track, and I think I came in around 8.5 miles this morning.
I ran 6 this morning.
8 miles in the easy trails today. It was gusting 40-50 miles per hour which made the out portion fun, the back....not so fun or warm. My legs, lungs, and ankle all felt awesome the whole time. My speed is also building steadily. Hope to be ready for some racing in the spring (a half, a trail marathon, and hope to do a 50K ).
Strained (I hope) my achilles on Sunday chasing after my kids on Sunday. Only ran about 25 feet... Only put on about 1.5 lbs over Thanksgiving weekend, though, so there's that.
I thought I was getting back in shape after a 5.5 miler sunday. Last night I played squash for an hour with some really good players and felt like I was going to puke by the end. What a completely different kind of workout.
well, sure: it's an interval workout which is a completely different beast from steady mileage.
Today, only 4 miles (30:19), wanted to run more but baby woke up and it took a while to get her back to sleep, 4 was all I could fit in.
I ran two last night to warm up for an hour of strenuous core and weights. It made for a great night's rest, so much so that I woke up this morning too late to run.
Big fat 0 today because I have a 2 hour commute in the morning on Wed. I may have to fit one in tonight and tomorrow night. Friday I will rock a nice trail run in some new trails I found in the area.
Completely excited to follow the TFEC 50 in Marin Headlands this weekend-huge field of the top runners.
4.5 tonight for me. Easing down the mileage for a more restful but steady winter. Felt really good not to get bent out of shape about distance or time. Running should be fun, I seem to remember.
