5.5 this morning. Still felt the weekend's wedding excesses moving around in my stomach.
5 miles on dreadmill....for no good reason....its beautiful out, yet I ran inside.
Oh well, good negative split at a consistant pace.
Any one happen to know when the MT110 is available?
Negative split = going faster with each mile?
my negative split went .25 mph faster every mile.
Pegged at 5% grade. Pushed my lungs hard, my legs and ankle felt fine. I also sweat an insane amount.
Over the summer when I was unemployed, I helped clean out an old wealthy ladies house for a few days, she gave me this fan from the 1940's, I will say, they do not make fans like this anymore, I had dried salt on my face and chest.
Ending pace was 7:15 MM which is really good for me at the present moment.
Excellent. The fan is de rigueur for the treadmill workout. My former gym had treadmills with fans built in which made it tolerable, but the current one does not.
5 miles for me ...
about nine with a solid "ladder" or "pyramid" workout
400: :79 (shitty)
MILE: 5:11(had to run out into lane 8 on the last lap cost me a few seconds)
A really good workout for me even though I wanted to go a bit faster on the mile. Splits were consistent all the way through, and I think I am in around 16 flat 5k shape. Looking forward to racing a Turkey Trot.
Another 6 miles this morning with a sprint to the finish. It felt good.
Tomorrow morning, the temp will be in the high 20s
Egads, man. How do you deal with that?
First you get used to the cold, then you learn how not to get too hot running with a ton of layers on......
Personally, winter is my favorite time to run as no one else is out running and I have all my routes to myself.
Living in the Chicagoland area and near the lake, both cold, and ass loads of snow are what we contend with.
I have found that winter running sets up a very strong spring for me.
5 this morning. actually went out on my 4 1/3 loop, but had to take a detour due to unexpected road construction. 5 is the farthest i've run since i was 14 or so. after 2 days off, i felt great - like i could've run longer. and my time for the 4 1/3 would be very close to my personal best.
5 miles for me this morning.
Im spoiled RE the weather.
8 last night
