A slow 4+ this early morning to see how my ankle feels after rolling it yesterday.

    11 miles early this morning.
My right calf had a pretty big knot in it from the weekend, stopped and stretched at mile 4 and felt great the rest of the way.
By far the longest run I have done in a very long time.
it was nice to hit the easy breathing phase of a run and keep it for a while.....

This morning, 4 miles in about 30 minutes. Love the chilly weather.

6 this evening at 6:30 pace. Foot that has been bothering me was barely sore, which makes me really happy because I am racing 8k on saturday at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Got in just over 3 miles on a treadmill this morning at the gym. I've slacked off on my out door running before work over the past few weeks. It's harder for me to get motivated to get out there and run when I know that it will still be dark when I am done.

When I'm not motivated, it's so easy for me to go back to sleep instead of running in the early morning darkness. Fortunately was able to get out the door this morning and run around 6.7 miles.

Sometimes, I run better when I cannot see how far I have to run. Just as far as my headlamp shines...

last 20.5 miles of NYC course on Sunday. Beautiful day for it, unfortunately there were tons of others with the same idea. 6.5 last night over the Williamsburg bridge. Today, yoga and a day off.
Marathon tunnel vision has set in. All I want to do is run, eat and sleep.

Tonight, 5 miles with the local running club. Under 40 minutes--a good pace for me.

8 tonight with some people from a different running club than I usually run with. Ran 6 with them at around 6 min pace, then ran 2 x 1k w a cool down.
Felt really crappy, as I didnt intend to run the first 6 as hard as I did, so I couldnt close very hard on the k reps.
