This morning was the most I've run since before I graduated high school.
6 miles. Took me about 45-50 minutes, but I'm okay with that. It felt good to hit almost 10k.

Nothing wrong with that, especially if you say you hadn't run for a while.

I haven't run for 2 weeks now as the cold brings up a sharp pain in my knee. :S
Funny thing is, that I can play squash as much as I want without feeling a damn thing..

I guess I'll just have to wait till it gets warmer.

14.5 in 2:18. Used GU energy gel at mile 10. Good stuff - gave me a little bump. I read about it in another thread.

Kwilk and some of you others are good encouragement to start up again for a decent 10km time (for me anyways) in about three months. I'd like to do it in 46-48 minutes....this will be challenging as I'm not a 'natural' runner, but need something to aim for.

Five miles, today, at the "Y" indoor track. (It is 6 degrees and freezing outside.) After every mile, I do 10 burpees.

2.5 mile was all I could do today..
cause then i felt my knee injury coming back.. [IMG]

Probably just gonna wait for warmer days to run, cause running when it's 4 degrees outside is just not good for me.

That could well be it. Just keep doing it twice a week and you'll see you performance go up in no time.
Also, if you're out of breath after the first kilometer, try running at a lower pace.

    Either way, hang in there!

    Easy 5k today after a long layoff. I think that's roughly 3mi.
