Went out for 6 or so yesterday, but developed a pretty stout pain in my knee after 2. Tried stretching and continuing, but only got another quarter mile. Felt a recurring twinge just below my knee all day today on the drive back from LA. :fu:

    0 yesterday (brother's wedding)
I need to go long tonight buy I am having some problems with my right foot. Probably nothing major but I've been limping all weekend. I think its time to switch to full bore trainers for the rest of this marathon prep cycle.

Been MIA for the past few weeks as I just started a new job. As a result have not been running as much as I would like. Ran 4.57 miles in CP on Saturday in 30:30. Legs felt fresh enough.

This morning 4 miles. A good run that will help me get through a boring all day retreat. Most of the topics don't apply to me so I got here early to get a seat in the back. I love my iPad.

Yasso Halves workout (10 x 800 @ 90%) on track yesterday. Real work, including avoiding lots of little kids having a great time scampering across Lane 1. 10mi this morning in beautiful 75 degree sunny conditions. 10 more tonight. High school cross country teams are out and about getting ready for the upcoming season.

Nice of you to drop in. 2 laps of the bridge is only part of the route.

    Around 14km or so in 1hr ....

OT: Wanted to cop some Nike Free Run +2 yesterday. Not as a running shoe but as a sneaker... However, I wasn't able to squeeze into these suckers because of my high instep. Does anybody know any (good-looking) alternatives? I saw Adidas had a similar constructed sneaker but srsly, this thing was ugly.

When I joined I learned a lot about rare, quality brands... I check shoe/shirt sizing ... that's pretty much about it...

After you start exercising regularly at decent intensity levels, you end up looking good in almost anything...especially slim fit denim and cheapo cotton tees & henleys

What are you talking about? I was referring to my run putting me in a good mood to endure a retreat I attended today. Because a lot of what was discussed at the retreat didn't pertain to me, I surfed the web on my iPad. :)

Another 4.5 ... transition from treadmill to trail wasn't as bad as expected ...snail's pace but came in sweating like a hooker in church due to altitude changes
