5 miles ~ 40 minutes
4.9. 51 degrees and overcast. I love San Francisco!
Tacked on an extra 6 last night on the treadmill for a double.
Looking forward to getting a run/swim in the ocean tonight.
A little over a mile of running, since today was not a cardio day.
2 miles... wussed out... Need to get up to running an hour again so I can break 115 in the half in 3 months...
1:15 is a serious time for the half!
just about 9 today. Last half mile barefoot on grass.
Feeling the right kind of sore tonight which makes me happy.
I just finished 4 years of running in college..and I am being lazy after starting the corporate life
16 tonight in 1:51:10. Late night run, started a little before midnight. It had rained pretty hard most of the evening so it cooled things of a bit (into the low 70s) which felt great, but it also made it really humid.
9 tonight, in the rain. made the temperature perfect.
worldrunner - good shit man! what events did you run at school?
Jwied - considering getting going on the post midnight run myself . . . but feeling lazy, especially considering the Paris Diamond League is on Universal sports in like 5 minutes.
Weather or not I run tonight will likely be the difference between a 70 ish or 80ish mile week. YTBD.
Ran the 5k and cross.... Never ran as well as I did in high school though during season.. However, I prd in the summer twice... I think it had to do with trusting my training and not my coach... PR was 1955 4 mile.... Went to hell senior year though as I interned at a big 4 valuation group last summer and then competed on 3 school academic case competition teams.... Overall, running is my stress reliever and I get off on running for an hour to clear my head.
5 miles ~ 39.22
6.7 this morning. Slept in yesterday after a few bad-sleep (Well, less than usual) nights. Achilles is pretty tender.
Got out for an untimed 11 this AM.
Looking forward to a tough trail run with some good runners from my club tomorrow. On track for first 70 week since my last marathon.
Worldrunner - 19:55 is just sick man. I am looking to go sub 16 for the 5k later this summer but it will be a reach.
No running yesterday evening because I spent 8 hours stuck in the Philadelphia airport. Argh!
Hopefully, I can make up for it and run for a couple of hours today.
