I ran 3 miles at lunch in Oklahoma City with a coworker and my heart rate went sky high. He crashed because he forgot to eat this morning. It was pathetic. I will stick to 5:00 am runs from now on.

moderate workout this evening - nothing serious but ran 2 miles up and then 12 x 400 with jogging recovery and one down. Did drills and strides as well.
Feeling good, but I know I still need to let myself recover more.
I am on my way to Vegas mañana though, so I will get some rest and recuperation time (I'm not a drinker), as well as the chance to eat at some GREAT restaurants.

5.25 tonight, fast man fast. Been keeping up just not posting.

Sam, are you a heel striker, looking at your pic from SD? [IMG]

Not a heel striker - I am more mid-foot forefoot striker, although in that pick my form had truly degenerated, and I was doing my best to just keep moving. May have struck with heel.
5.5 today on the treadmill at the Cosmo in Vegas.

^^awesome shirt for the Portugal Day run. The give away sardines tins were cool too. Damn I hate running in the heat. They had misting/sprinklers set up though with actually cold water.
