Sam, The jury is still out . I'm in my 9th week and still haven't had that breakthrough where I really enjoy myself during a run. Try running at different times in the day. You might find that your body works better at a particular time. For me, early morning is best. I hate running in the afternoon. Find a running buddy. Join a local running club. Nearly every good running shoe store has a running group. I find that my best runs occur on days when I don't feel like running. Running clears my mind; it creates a mindset for the entire day. If you have gone 9 weeks, you're hooked!
