Been getting in more race efforts recently and looking pretty good for my first race on April 2nd. Also @sugarbutch I might do BWR as well depending how my race goes.

Solid 16 hours last week despite more rain. Pushed back my half marathon plans to maybe q4 this year with my bike racing schedule. The LA marathon actually went right by my place and ended less than a mile away so was fun spectating

7.3 miles yesterday after a week of no running. It was slow but enjoyable even in the cold. With the time change, will be nice in the evenings again.

I am looking forward to it. If only just to get to the end of this training block… ;)

7.3 miles, gym, then sauna yesterday. My Garmin watch went blank last night even with a decent amount of battery. I tried resetting and all sorts of things last night and nothing. Well this morning, being stubborn, I tried again and it turned on. Only lost my run data from yesterday.

These on-road miles hit a little different than the trainer miles. Due to a variety of fückery, we spent a lot of time waiting around, so perhaps the least time-efficient ride I’ve ever done, but lots of fun with great company.

So Saturday I wake up and get my Garmin turned on. Went about my morning then check the time. While the watch turned on, it just kept whatever time was shown when it woke up so definitely broken.

Went out and got the newer model, Garmin 55. Does everything the old one did in the same size so happy about that.

Got in 7.3 miles Saturday, then a workout, sauna, run in yesterday. May get in a run today but TBD.

I feel like I’ve burned, and consumed, 5000 calories each of the last two days at Disney World. I hope the kids let us sleep in tomorrow.

Got in a 7.3 mile run on Monday then a neighborhood ruck last night. Adjusted the straps on my ruck from shouldering all of the weight to the weight more on my hips. Made rucking much more enjoyable.

Continue to feel lackluster. Got into the first set, and was struggling to maintain my threshold power, so I reduced to 75%. Something is better than nothing, right? Felt better as I continued, bumping up to 85% for the second set, then 90% for the last.
