Wow, fantastic runs and workouts above. I dipped off from exercising during the pandemic, but about a month or so ago bought a Garmin Enduro 2 to reinvigorate me. It's been working tremendously and is an excellent watch. So many stats, and good to see the recovery zones and how out of shape I had become but already seeing improvement a month in. Oh, and one charge during all that time, never took it off (even tracks sleep of course).

Anyway, did 3.6 miles Monday, watch told me to take 3 days off to fully recover, but did another 3.6 on Thursday, did 20 minutes on the Peloton bike yesterday (for some reason, really gives me a sweat!), and 20 minutes on my new Peloton tread today (loved it). Good thing with mixing up outdoor and the Peloton for me is that I tend to do only aerobic exercise outside, whereas apparently I may have more variability with the Peloton instructors. I'm not completely clear the differences between these aerobic, anaerobic, etc. zones. Here's a snapshot of a recent outdoor run's stats:

A steady-ish 6.7km round-the-block this morning. I ended up running only 40km in total last month for various reasons. It's got to get a lot better than that this month.
At least you’re running!

Gym yesterday morning then another 8.2 miles in the afternoon. It was sprinkling early in the run then cleared up after a few minutes. The last 1-2 miles I tend to turn off podcasts and turn on music to push it a little bit. Averaging low 8min/mi pace for these runs so already pushing it more than my normal routes back home.

I thought about it and think it is due to running near traffic versus on a path in the woods.

Did my first official weightlifting competition. It was a beginners meet and did okay. Weighed in at 78.7kg so I lifted in the 81kg weight class.

For the snatch I hit 70kg, no lifted 75kg, and then hit 76kg. For the C&J I managed 100kg, 105kg, but no lifted 110kg. Total was 181kg.

Weekend off for car racing. Back at it this evening:

A medical procedure and a cold knocked back my September total, but still a decent month. Still progressing toward my fitness goals for the year, and I’m down 16 lbs. since May.
