Body is acting weird today. Super hungry all day long despite eating more than I usually do, then a couple of waves of nausea on a long-ish climb in the first half of this ride. Felt better and had fun in the back half, though, and even sprinted with the whippersnappers!

Update on my lifts. Some were done in kilos while others were done in lbs.

Snatch- 80kg/176.4 lbs up 4.4lbs
C&J- 245lbs/111.11 kg up 5 lbs
Front squat- 295lbs/133.78kg up 20 lbs

Haven’t been able to properly train and test back squat and deadlift due to injuries. I’m hoping to do a 10 week training block for both starting in October and test in mid December.

Rode to and from the San Rafael crits yesterday. Lost my taillight on the way there, and misjudged my departure time going home, so I rode in the dark from the climb out of Sausalito. 46 miles round trip.

These are really solid numbers, especially the front squat. Stay healthy!

July was my best month so far this year:

444 miles / 33 hours / 22,400 ft

No credit for elevation on the trainer, though. :)

Today, 5 x 7 min at threshold with 3 min recovery at 50% threshold:
