Isn't that a normal riding position (somewhat)?
Maybe this is a better illustration of what I think @Piobaire is talking about. With road bars, I think this is caused by using handlebars that are positioned too close to the seat. In mountain biking, this posture is fairly normal, especially with the extra wide bars that are the norm these days.

Temps were in the mid-30s this morning. My lawn has been enjoying this cooler than average spring but I'm ready for a bit more heat and humidity in the mornings.

So yesterday morning I got in weights after dropping off the kids at daycare. Since I am just getting back into it, most lifts were the bar only to get in the motions and get used to the movements. Last night was then a 30min Peloton class where my legs felt my morning weights.

Walking for me for about 200m then jogging back to my starting point. I can’t stand, especially between such short intervals. It feels weird to go from moving so fast to standing still to moving fast again in such a short time frame.

I just did a five mile trail run at North Table Mountain Park (next to Golden, CO). What a great place to run. I ran a nice loop with a maximum elevation of 6,552’ and some steep hills. Temps in the upper 40s to low 50s.

11.4 miles this morning at 7:59/mile overall. We had a frost advisory overnight but I don’t think it got much below 40° and it was already about 45° when I stepped off around 6:30 so it was pretty nice out.

I did a cautious 6.7km (just over 4 miles) round-the-block loop yesterday evening. I didn't time it, was just running easy, but I think it was around 5:10 to 5:15/km. This used to be my standard 'reference run' way back in 2010-11, but I haven't run easy for a distance this short since at least early 2019, I think.

The good news is that everything feels okay. I won't say great. Okay. So I might try a slightly longer distance (10km or so) this evening or early tomorrow morning.
