It might be worth contacting Reebok, especially if they are part of the net promoter customer satisfaction cult. The bargain Reebok Forever Floatride Energy shoes I've been running in for all my easy pace runs for the last few months have started to come apart at the Achilles notch on the back of the collar. I don't know if its the way my foot moves or the materials or both, but that's only 500km (310 miles). I'm not sure they will make it to the 750km (465 miles) that I was expecting from them. It's a shame because up to this point they've been really comfortable and there's no sign of degradation / hardening in the midsole or wear on the outsole at all.
The problem is that I got them off a private ebay seller. They were new but I have no receipts etc. But I might contact them.It might be worth contacting Reebok, especially if they are part of the net promoter customer satisfaction cult.![]()
Resist the urge to eat as you run more. That's always my Achilles heel.Trying to start running again after being sidelined since November by a stress fracture reaction in my left leg.
3 miles @8:27 per this morning (splits 8:14, 8:37 and 8:31). Was feeling pretty good by the end of it but some insanely fit guy blew by near the end of my run to burst my bubble. He must have been running at a 6:30 pace or below. To add insult to injury I don't think he was much younger
I've gained 10 lbs from this injury and the leg is still bothering me enough that I'm not going to be able to run more frequently than 2-3x per week. Very frustrating.
