How many miles did you run today?

So my new neighborhood is 1.35 miles for one lap. 5 laps put me at 6.8 miles and 1,045ft gain so a decent amount though repetitive. Next up is other neighborhood to see what they have to offer
I'd be thrilled to get 1,000+ feet of gain over less than 7 miles (or 200' on such a short lap out of my front door).

I got in 11.92 miles this morning (I'm kicking myself for not running around the loop of my driveway and my neighbor's driveway to get me 12 miles even) at an 8:28/mile pace. Nearly double the length of jbarwick's run, but I only got about 400' of elevation gain, and I was surprised that it was even that much!

Just installed a custom stem cap that summarizes how I feel when out on the bike.

This is fair. At this point your new cap will have no relevance for me.

4.5 trail miles with the dogs. Temps held steady at 31. This felt weird combined with an AQI of 76. The forecast has up getting up to 11” of snow on Sunday (TWSS), so hopefully that’ll help with the fires.

You cant twss 11 precipitation on Sunday. If you had said we're getting snow on Sunday a full 11 inches then yes.

I am glad I am not doing this race. Now that I have seen the elevation map even more so.

8.1 miles this morning at 7:45/mile pace.

My run included 8 intervals of 800 meters at the track with about 25 seconds of walking between each and I still managed to set PRs for 2 miles, 5k, and 10k.

Final cross country race today and boy was it something haha. 3.1 miles in 23:44, 7:42 average pace. This is the elevation map.

I’m happy with my effort though. My pacing was much improved (though it was probably kept in check by that first mile climb and aided by those massive descents). Would have managed a negative split but I stopped to check on someone who had stumbled on the trail behind me during mile 2. I did managed to out kick the group of 4 runners I had been trading off with over the last mile of the course at the finish. That was fun.

Overall a good albeit tough day and a solid end to the series for me.

Also a 2.5 mile warm up and 1.5 mile cool down for a total of 7 on the day.
